A little narcissism is innate in all of us because we’re programed to facilitate our own survival. Even the selfless retract or recede from a “greater cause”m at some point, to procure the comfort of our own self preservation, or legacy, simply due to our own mortality. If we could collectively conclude that selflessness is sacred to our shared humanity we could ultimately sift out the means to a favorable outcome of all possible scenarios and therefore fulfill a better fate for our kind and therefore be better people in the process.
