It's All About Game Theory
It’s all about Game Theory.  Even metaphysical concepts.  The plight and practice of the theorist is to categorize and analyze the games and to determine what games apply to what events and occurrences, even motivations, that are taking place.  What we need to do is to determine what overall game we’re playing, and what correlating mini-games are subsequent, subversive, supplementary...

Turning 27 - Reblogged from My Facebook
27?! Oy vey :) Ah well, not 30 yet; even 30 is not so bad. Wisdom of my 27 year old self unsolicited? The golden rule, in whatever tradition you learned it from, is key. Epistemology should be taught from an early age. “Politics” serves more to perpetuate tumultuous rhetoric to benefit political parties than it does to pose intellectual insight to like-minded thinkers. In terms of our...

jaredgeller: Michael Oren, Israeli Ambassador to the US visited the Colbert Report last night.  While, for the most part the interview was pretty tame, Colbert wrapped up (around 8 minutes in) by telling the Israel Ambassador: “I repudiate everything Helen Thomas said - go back to Poland, go back to Germany - that’s ridiculous.  Israel is for Israelis. If anything, Palestinians show back to...

“The best way to reduce illegal immigration is through a comprehensive federal approach, he said, and not a patchwork of state laws.” Did John Morton say that verbatim? Let’s assume he did.  Look, coming from the left, hear me out. I’m not even going to agree with him and say he’s right.  Based on these words alone, I think even he is missing the big picture and...

Being an adult is an immature concept. Think back to when you became 18. You were so sure that you’ve achieved this magical level of identity. At 26 I’ll feel less of “an adult” than I did at that young and naive age.  I feel less that that concept means anything.  I believe we’re all children living in decaying bodies.

America the Beautiful - Revised
O beautiful for polluted skies,  For amber waves of grain, but mainly corn,  For poorly regulated mining of our purple mountains majesties,  Above the fruited plain, but mainly corn,  America! America! God shed his grace on heterosexual Christians with legal status (probably not thee),  And crown thy good with… brotherhood? From sea to oily sea

What Is "Art"?
Where is the “good” art? What is the “good” art? Art is bad if not well executed. What is well executed art? Well executed art is a brilliant, more importantly ‘authentic’ processing of data into a presentable artistically classified, or unclassified, form of expression. Therefore, it’s “art”. “Good” art can be entirely separate of...

Rapper Names
Material goods and/or concepts associated with wealth and high social status, as well as general Hip Hop culture colloquialism and catch phrases, are becoming so eponymous to hip hop artists’ professional handles, that I’m beginning to have trouble distinguishing the artist’s name from their song titles (if both are listed together ambiguously). An example: my radio marquees the...

A New Field of Psychology?
An interesting study to pursue that is somewhat abstract, but applicable none-the-less, would be to correlate interpersonal interaction (specifically verbal) with spacial relations.  Certainly this is not a novel idea as “physical visualizations” has served to maximize many aspects of self-healing in terms of meditation as well as other forms of psychological practices.  However, a...

In response
yawninglily: Surely the most creative experience you can have is recreating yourself every day. There isn’t a more malleable substance than your own willing self. In the words of Lexy Hulme: “sometimes the muse, sometimes the artist”. But then, in my words: “sometimes the canvas, sometimes the paint.” —Tori Watson, in response to this.

In Defense of Micro-Blogging
Many of whom are unfamiliar with social-media would presume that micro-blogging is the same as blogging and thus subject to the same sort of criticism.  The criticism being that blogs, and bloggers, are pretentious in nature in that they assume their amateur musings are insightful, witty, entertaining or all of these things combined.  A cogent assessment, but unfair in my opinion, and certainly...

A Description of America's Government Type
A self-proclaimed Democracy, arguably classified more specifically as a Representative Democracy, Liberal Democracy, Republican Democracy, or Constitutional Republic, in turn governed by a party system in which the parties rely on the media to ensure an unofficial Demagogy, while observing the growing presence of a seeming Cyberocracy, thus attempting to control this looming system to facilitate a...
